i think aprilia electronics are totally different these days, all now use the canbus system which is pretty much bullet proof - anyway, its still under warranty.....

Whats it like?

Does the fly screen do much or is it like riding a naked? What speed can you cruise at without getting a head and neck battering (and how tall are you)?

How are you getting on with the high bars and upright position compared to the lean forward clip ons your used to?

These are only things that make me hum and haw about putting the Tuono on my next bike wish list.

Watch it coming out of roundabouts over bumps, etc, etc. Never ridden one but they have a reputation for kicking in quick and lifting the front wheel real easy off the power, which can be dodgy if your not expecting it - bags of torque!

I've also read the the balancer shaft "completely" smooths out the V60, which if true is good, but a bit of a shame at the same time - is this true? Does it still have the thump thump thump character?

Sorry for so many questions but I'm a big v twin fan and really want to know what these are like.

Thanks

Had one of these sitting outside my work a few months ago, guy popped in to see someone next door to us... Thump thump it does indeed! Had an Akra system fitted (bout a grand ) and sounded georgeous Dam thing was shaking the building.

Was quite cool when he popped a mad size/height wheelie half way up the road when he left
