Default How much is a 'well used' SV worth?

Trying to figure out if it's better to keep my SV and run it into the ground or try and get some cash for it.

This bike was *mint* a year ago. Since then it's done 10k, through winter, been attempted stolen (x2) and thrown down Donnington Park BUT i've replaced everything important that's broken and serviced it on schedule.

Details:
2000 W reg
21,000 miles

Good points:
  • Engine's fine
  • Rides just as good as any standard SV
  • service history
  • Rear hugger
  • Front fender extender
  • R6 throttle tube
  • R&G's
Bad points
  • Steering lock points on frame broken off in attempted theft (passed MOT since no problems)
  • Right hand side front fairings broken (possible plastic weldable)
  • right side rear fairing scuffed
  • Top yoke has hacksaw marks in from attempted theft.
  • Lower fairings avaliable, but RHS needs fixing & respraying.
  • ignition replaced after attempted theft
  • Corrosion on fork lowers
tyres, C&S will either need replacing, or have just been replaced if I don't sell for a few months.

Is £900 reasonable?

Liz sold her W reg Naked Curvey with 33K on the clock, with a bust front mudguard and few character marks for £1100 last year, with no MOT or Tax...

I had my Curvey SV with 36K on the clock valued at £800 on part ex against my GSXR last year.

Yours sounds about the right sort of price range.

As above.

I just bought mine for £1500.
Needed a new tank, and needs fork seals doing (seals and oil already supplied), 20k miles, no MOT or Tax.
Already got a solo seat cowl, scorpion can, undertray, tail tidy and lower fairings too.

But I would agree as supply vs demand £900-£1000

If you would be happy with £900 and if you've got time to burn you might try breaking it.
