Default Boring overplayed topic, But it need some quick help

I need to replace my front tensioner. I think I read somewhere that the pointy tensioners fit onto a curvy, but i cant find the thread. Is this true? What year tensioner should I order? Thanks for the help.

Yep, in my experience, but I've heard some reports of people having trouble fitting 'em (I think one was from Mike numbers, who is a person who should be listened to, but I'm not 100%)

NOT the latest version though, they're oil-fed and totally different or so I hear. Play safe and get a K3 one if you're buying new, or if you're bying used see pics.
