Thumbs up getting lost in the country lanes...

...intentionally , has anyone tried it?... no map...no destination...see what you find... i have come across some brilliant views in Kent. have a compass just in case i get lost ...but what the hell all roads lead to Rome..or is it home?
anyone does anything similar?

Many a time. Always seemed to end up at Tunbridge Wells for some reason though.

yeh do it all the time whent he weathers nice, out into hertforsdhire. But i usualu end up in the same places too.

am off to st.Albans today, to visit a friend. last time i went one of the 40m/h dual carriageways (nr Ferrari dealer) had so many rabbits on the sideof the road, i had to use the horn to make them run away

Done that in Hertfordshire recently and ended up in a place called Nasty.
Seemed quite nice to me.

the freedom of bike ownership, no direction, no destination, no outside infulance, just amount of petrol, and amount of time.

what it's all about really isn't it, glad you enjoyed yourself, try it an night sometime, adds a whole other dimention to the ride.
