Default My Birthday List - Help needed please!

I'm writing a birthday list of things I would like as commanded by the better half and this is what I have come up with so far, I could do with some help!

Crash protectors
http://www.chewys-stuff.co.uk/
Fairing set - SOLD AS A PAIR
SV650S K3 > K7
£11.50 + P&P

Exhaust hanger
http://www.intobikes.co.uk/products?...hlModel=002427
Harris Exhaust Hanger Bracket
Suzuki SV650 S (2003)
38.00 GBP

Airblade Double bubble light smoke screen
http://www.intobikes.co.uk/products?...=ASC&sf=&rt=60
Suzuki SV650 S (2003)
45.00 GBP

Hyperpro Progressive Fork Springs - Suzuki SV 650 03-06
http://www.motorcycle-road-and-race....ucts_id=403161
£97.00 (inc. VAT & UK Del)

Tail tidy
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SUZUKI-SV650-S...QQcmdZViewItem
For a Suzuki SV650S K3
Standard indicator fitting (not mini)
0800 634 2801
£44.99 + £5.95

Clear indicator covers and orange bulbs (if I can find them on the net)
See:
http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.p...19#post1227519

Got some new OEM fairings off Ebay today for 200 quid so happy with that, I should have only been looking tbh.

Extras already on fitted:

Rear seat cowl
Mirror extendors
front mud gaurd extender
stainless steal engnie bolt kit
Braided hoses
Rear Hugger

Do I need new seals if I get the fork kit, come to think of it do I need any other parts if I get the fork kit?

Any other suggestions welcome to add to the birthday list or if you know of a better product than listed above let me know especially if it's cheaper.

Many Thanks

Best money I ever spent was on a race can ( road legal with removable baffles ) it did nothing for the performance but oh boy did it increase the riding pleasure just because it sounds lovely...

Off your list if it was me, the only thing I wouldnt be to bothered about would be the exhaust hanger.

As for the spring kit, no you dont need to change the seals, unless its weeping for oil already ? Might be worth poruing some heavier fork oil in there though when you put it back together.

Chewy does good stuff, but I would chuck more money at it and go R&G's, they have saved my bike about half a dozen times. That said Chewies may be every bit as good or better but I cant personally recommend them as I havent used them.

Hmm seems like a "bling" item - nothing wrong with that but would put it at the bottom of the list personally.

Airblade Double bubble light smoke screen
http://www.intobikes.co.uk/products?...=ASC&sf=&rt=60
Suzuki SV650 S (2003)
45.00 GBP

Double bubble is always good, but depending on the colour of your bike you may be better off with darker, or even a different colour - I ended up changing my light smoke for a black.

Hyperpro Progressive Fork Springs - Suzuki SV 650 03-06
http://www.motorcycle-road-and-race....ucts_id=403161
£97.00 (inc. VAT & UK Del)

Fully recommend these - put them in weekend before last, now done about 800 miles on them and really like them - should be cheaper than that tho, try your local Hein Gericke, who are a Hyperpro distributer, thats what I did (well if you count Northampton as local to London - well was an excuse for a little ride and to go see Paws :P) It should be about £10 to £15 cheaper and will come with 15W oil in the kit.

Tail tidy

Tail tidy IS good but you lose good bungee hooking points and mud WILL find its way on the underside of your grab rail !!! I went with the Hamicad one on recommendation.

Clear indicator covers and orange bulbs (if I can find them on the net)

Main reason I have a Exhaust hanger on the list is that I believe that it's an MOT failure to have a seat cowl and to have the rear pegs still on? Well that's what I was told on my last MOT anyway. Anyone heard of that before?

I believe it's an MOT failure to have a seat and no pegs

If it IS the case, chuck the seat back on when you take it for MOT ????

I would think there would be more of an issue if you had a seat but no pegs.....

Yes Ive heard of that before, theres a simple solution to that, put your pillion seat back on when you take the bike for MOT.

Also that way you dont loose the bungee points on the pilion pegs, comes in useful when you're carrying luggage for example.

I'm sure somebody on here made a can hanger out of an old pilion peg bracket so that might be an option to.
