Default two bluetooth at same time?

Has anyone connected two bluetooth devices to their phone at the same time?
I tested a phone running tomtom in my pocket, using a bluetooth gps in other pocket, and just listening to voice commands in my ear with an earpiece. Worked surprisingly well.
Now i was wondering, if its possible to use a bluetooth headset as well, at the same time, might be able to do away with the dangly bit of wire, and also take calls as well. Though it may be a struggle getting a bluetooth thingy under my lid, but nevertheless, I'd use the same setup in the car as well if it worked.

I'm pretty sure that you can only connect one at a time, unless the hardware has more than one Bluetooth "modules" (and I can't think of anything that has...).

I've got an Orange M600 and put TomTom and bought a bluetooth receiver also on it.

I don't think you can have two connections on at once

I have my bluetooth earpeice in (no wires) and turned on, and I have my TomTom on and working but when I get a call the tom tom stops tracking and only works again after the call has finished..

SORRY

Bluetooth 2.0 devices are supposed to be able to connect up to 7 devices at the same time, is this the case?

Hmmm. The wireless hands free unit in my car allows up to 7 different devices (OK phones) to be connected, but only one at a time. If it can't find the last phone it was connected to, it searches for others that it recognises (not any device, just ones that have been connected before).

Hope that helps..
