I have a massive dent in my tank from my first off, and to be honest its the most unsightly thing and an eyesore on my beloved.
observe : ![]() Now i was looking into buyng a brand new tank, but almost everyone i spoke to either said dont get a new tank, find a cheap one on ebay or somehing or fill it, but how? the paint and everything wont look too bad as im going to cover it with decals so you wont even see it, but i dont really know what to use, or how to get the substance what ever it is to stay in there, maybe should invest in lock tight lol, any help would be great Cheers ![]() LyleJ |

I use David's Isopon, just because that's what my grandad used, it's a similiar filler and works very well. For a patch that size it'll probably stick no probs, so I'd just clean it, maybe scuff the paint up with a coarse wet and dry, and splatch it on. Make sure there's absolutely no rust.

any paint shop will do you a spray can match if you didnt want to pay suzi prices, a primer and a cote of spray would also protect the filler in the dink.
