Default speedo sender cable mudguard clip on curvy

Haynes said you had to remove front wheel in order to push the centre pin up thru the clip in order to get the clip off the front mudguard so that it (mudguard ) could be taken from the bike. I just undid the 4 bolts holding the mudguard on and raised it. Then used an electrical screwdriver with the tip bent at a right angle to push the pin out - worked a treat. Unlike the damn sikaflex 291 stuff which stuck like hell to the mudguard but just peeled off the pyramid extenda fenda.

What was that special grease to smear round the front spark plug cap to weather seal it? I think I'll forget the extenda

And meths is a good cleaner for sikaflex.

Is there any specific reason why the sensor cable is clipped to the mudguard. Can it just be clipped to the LH brake hose, like it is to the RH hose?

The only reason it's clipped to the mudguard is to stop it fouling the wheel. so if you can achieve that any other way, go right ahead
