Wahey! 2nd Place! - SV650.org

I have just returned from the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod in Wales where I competed with the National Barbershop Youth Chorus and won second prize! Only 12 of the lads (out of 40) could make it but we got 88 points compared to the winners' 90 points (with 50 men). It is/was on S4C (Channel 4 Wales), BBC Radio Wales/Cymru, BBC Radio 3 and TV and radio stations around the world and here:

I'm the bass on the back row on the left hand side with the constantly moving eyebrows.
It really was a great gig and I'm proud to help represent British youth barbershop at such an immense event. Taking second in the barbershop category is a great achievement, especially considering our poor numbers this morning and the quality of the other competitors. Just a brilliant opportunity (and some great roads on the way there

)!
