Default Should I buy a screen for my naked SV650?

Well I managed to get out on my bike today and add 110 miles to it. Up until now the mileage (only 700mls in 6weeks) has been 20 miles and 30 miles there. This is due to weather and not enough spare time.

I love the bike and like the position of the bars and various riding positions, and I am starting to get down onto the tank which I've found allows me to ride quicker round the bends. Only problem is the wind noise so I'm thinking of getting a streetfighter screen like this one:-

Not sure how easy to fit, tough and useful this one is and how it will make my bike look.

I would appreciate some helpful comments please. Perhaps there's a better one to buy.

Thanks

I fitted a screen to mine & god it's ugly, but it has taken so much wind blast off me it has made the bike a lot easier to ride at speed.

I have been looking at smaller ones but I dont think it will offer the same amount of protection. Someone will be along shortly to prove me wrong tho

i wouldnt expect a lot of wind protection from the second screen mate. I had a screen like the first one you posted on my bike for a while and it did make a big diffrence to the wind blast. It even felt faster getting up thr the gears.

I got mine from my local Hein Gericke btw, so i could hold it up to the bike and see how it looked before i parted with my cash.

Errm in case you cant guess, mines the one in the middle

Puig make one to replace the black bit of your little cowl. I think you can see it at Buster's web site. Don't find the wind too bad myself. The SV isnt really made to do sustained cruising over 90.
