Hi,
I've just bought a 1999 SV650S from a mate who had left it standing outside ![]() He told me the carbs were flooding, turned out the leaking petrol was a hole in the tank. Brakes binding, stripped and cleaned the calipers and now sorted. I've spent some time cleaning and servicing it, oil/filter, new battery, new fork oil & fresh coolant etc. The last job apart from the valve clearances is to balance the carbs, I dont think this has ever been done! Having spent out quite a bit getting up and running I can't (not allowed) afford to buy any vacuum gauges. So if anyone in Kent has any I could use, I would be very greatfull. I'm in Ashford, I'm more than happy to balance them on your drive, so you can keep sight of them ![]() Many thanks Matt |
