I have a SV650S K3 and it seems to have developed a nasty vibration at 4000-6000rpm. I feel it mainly through the foot rests but also if I press my thighs against the tank. It's not the wheels or chain or anything because it does it when I rev the engine stationary.
It's quite annoying and a bit worrying because it didn't used to do it. I have had the bike for about 3 months. The only thing I can think of is that it started after I dropped the bike on gravel while wheeling it forward. The R&G crash protectors I had fitted seemed to take the impact although I think some of the weight went on the front bit of the tail pipe i.e. the bit nearest the footrest. Could the drop have unbalanced something? Anything I can check for to diagnose this? |

Get your throttle bodies balanced. Mine did that a couple of times and a TB balance soon sorted it.
