Default I'm Screwed.....

....Literally!

Nipped out down LBS to check out and hopefully ordered a new zorst, can back parked it up on the drive. Came to go out again for a nice ride and there, smack bang in the middle of the rear tyre, a dirty great screw!

Rang up the local tyre places and all shut! Tried to remove it slowly and hisssssssssss, so just screwed it back in!

Going to have to take it tomorrow, luckily im off work!

Arrrggghhhh!

Screwing it back in will potentually do greater damage to the internal structure of the tyre and may mean it can't be repaired, you not go a puncture repair kit then ?

well apart from helping your fellow bikers and not getting stuck anywhere yourself, this is why you should have one.#

the movement of the tyre around the object (screw in this case) will cause more of the internal structure to be compromised, at some point this will make the tyre beyond even a pro fix.

If possible remove the wheel and take it in, rather than ride it with the screw in place.

Cheers Mark.
