Default Screen Legal?

I have just purchased a black screen, by black I mean solid black so you cannot look through it. I have just had a thought that it may not be road legal though. Can anyone shed some light on the subject? Cheers all.

Thans for that, you've put my mind at rest! Am I right in thinking that cheesy coloured screen bolts are illegal though? Don't want the fashion police after me!

the bolts aren't illegal, although they should be and you will be mocked for fitting them

Well kind of back to the point here, sorry to disappoint you, do I need to remove any of the plastics behind the clocks to get to anything to change the screen or is it just a case of unscrewing old and screwing in new?

When you do put the new screen in place make sure you do not foul the little rubber strips down the side.
BTW, where did you get the solid black screen from and how much was it ???
