See now that annoys me, you not going to fall off a car
![]() Two completely different concepts of motoring..........if you car no claims cant be used on a bike, then why should bike accidents effects a cars no claims etc ![]() ![]() ![]() I have 6 years car NCD that I will be loosing this year as I couldnt use them on my bike and my two years that i can keep them are nearlly up. |

you dont loose your car NCD if you have a bike accident but you do have to tell the insurance that you've been involved in an accident or 2 if your me

Has your partner got a car you can insure for a year, saves her insuring it. She can pay your premium and you get to keep your no claims, next year she can reinsure thus not loosing her NCD.
Does that make sense?

I have my company car, the missus's car and the bike which takes up the garage. I live in a quite culdesac in a well to do area where people love nothing more than calling the council to complain about others ![]() So I dont really want to park a knackered car on the road or make the front of my house look a mess either resulting in dead eye off the neighbours. ![]() |

Now that is a blooming genious idea. I was wondering what I was going to do. Passed my bike test a few weeks ago, got the SV and am now going to sell the car. Really annoyed at having to lose the 9 years NCD i'd built up and hadn't even thought of that. I was going to go the route of buying the cheapest car I could find just to keep the ncd |
