Default Twins & Triples that nobody knows much about

Benelli, Buell, Cagiva

What do you think of them? What reputation do they have?

Theres some fanstatic deals around on secondhand ones.

Any others (affordable) you can add to the list?

Woman I used to work with has a Buell XB12 (she used to have a SV650 pointy in black) and her fella has a Buell Ulysses. He reckons it is better than a BMW GS1200 he test rode. I'd like a Buell XB12, is that wrong?

Cagiva use suzuki engines don't they? well the raptors are certainly suzuki lumps as for build quality well not too bad but they do have a few niggly things that go wrong

It's the TL1000 engine in the raptors. Not sure about the electics though.

I think most of the electrics are suzuki parts as well, the switch gear is certainly suzuki

i was under the impression that they were suzuki designs but made in italy by italians using there own spec of metal meaning that whilst a raptor engine would fit in a tl it wouldnt last as long as proper suzuki tl engine. There is however a very large chance that i am wrong.

The engine in the raptor is definitely a proper suzuki one i think cagiva just put their own cases on it. as for the electrics a lot of stuff is interchangable between the TL and the Raptor
