Lyrics you get wrong
I'm sat here at work, eating my lentil and bacon soup (yummy
 ) listening to David Bowie's Ashes To Ashes on the radio.Now I quite like this song....but one thing always drives me mad - I have to sing along, and always sing the wrong lyric - even though I know it's wrong, I can't help myself from singing "We know Major Tom's a donkey"  Anyone else afflicted with Incorrect Lyric Syndrome? In 'The Sidewinder sleeps tonight' by REM I alsways sing 'Calling Cheryl Baker' instead of "Calling tyring to wake her up". It's the way Michael Stipe runs the words together, honest.

I guess I should have added, for the benefit of younger readers, that Cheryl Baker used to be one quarter of that classic 80's group 'Buckfizz' before becoming a TV personality(!).
