hi there just got some ohlins springs for my sv650s curvy. just want to know what is the best fork oil to put into them and how do i know how much to put in etc. any thing i should look out for

Personally, these will be my options(in order of preference), depending on what is available to you.
Silkolene Pro RSF 7.5W Putoline HPX 7.5W Silkolene Fork oil 10W(note that it's different from the RSF) Motul Fork oil comfort/medium 10W All they above are only slightly more viscous compared to the original oil. You don't want too much low speed damping especially when the weather turns colder.......all IMHO. If you can get the first Silkolene(Pro RSF), go for that. You can get it posted to you from Steve Jordan Motorcycles http://www.stevejordanmotorcycles.co.uk SV650Racer (a member here) is the Boss lady there and usually gives a discount to members of the forum.....worth sending a PM to her.
