Exclamation Ceramic Brakes

Hey

I am looking for a distributer of ceramic brakes for the sv650. Looking at upgrading for performance gains and for the use of racing. If someone could give me a link or a name of someone who sells them, that would be awesome.

edit: talking about the discs!

Thanks
Brayden

Ok, i'll bite.

Why on earth would you want to spend a fortune on Ceramic BRAKES on an SV?

The money you would spend would far far outweigh the benefits. You would be better off spending a small amount on a GSXR front end upgrade, with the 4 pot calipers, or upgrading them to 6 pots if yours heart desires. You start putting anything other than a set of pads and braded lines on the sv, then you will waste the breaking 'advantage' through the front suspension.

A nice idea, but toatly pointless.

Welcome to the site by the way.

And I've got to bite to at both of you and everyone else on this site that does not know the difference between brakes (that slow down vehicles etc) and breaks (when you drop something)

The title 'Ceramic Breaks' just makes me want say 'Yes, it does' - thinking of my aunt's favourite vase.

Sorry for the little rant and that you got it in the neck, but spelling DOES MATTER to convey meaning.

....... and breathe.

There is a company in the states but they are $3500 the pair.

Having raced SV's in various guises over the past four years id say there is absolutly nothing wrong with the stock Suzuki discs. A GSXR front end conversion with radial calipers and Brembo master cylinder on stock discs actually had my bike well overbraked. So much so that I only changed the race pads once in 11 outings 4 races each time and 11 test days!. Thats how little I had to squeeze them! We were lapping as quick as the mid pack supersports bikes at some tracks too!.
