Jackhammer down briefly!!
Quite obviously the young scamp Mike has paid absolutely no attention to Sid Squid!!
 We went to his place of work to abuse the nice carpark there (Private road etc). I talked it all through with him made sure he was comfortable, gave advice and off he went. First ride on a big bike!   10 yards later he fell off!!!   He pulled away a bit quicker than he expected, headed towards the pond and grabbed the front brakes. Oopsy!! The main thing was that he was ok, no damage to him. He did however manage to snap the gear lever!  He managed to get hold of a drill and some bolts, I fixed the lever and made him ride again. This time he stayed upright and happily wizzed around the car park for an hour or so.  So a big welcome to the Soho Crash Club for Jackhammer!!! And he hasn't even passed the test yet!!! Good luck for the 22nd Mike!

Bloody Hell - the dents in my pride have not even been hammered out yet and he posted it already - git
 Yes well needless to say I am feeling humbled by the whole experience but not put off in any way !!! I was already nervous about it given that 1. it wasn't my bike, 2. its not even Jesters Bike (sorry Raf) and 3. first time on a bike bike if you catch my drift Anyway - a sterling bike fix job by Paul and a Cigarette or two later he forced me back on the bike immediately and I made a much better effort at not falling off   Lets hope that it's a while before I do that again !!! Oops I'm still awaiting my first 'off' mistake to be made, I have had a couple of REALLY dodgy moments though lol.
At least you have got it over and done with (and not even damaged your own bike  )
