I've got a used one I got off eBay to replace one I destroyed in a spill, but the connector wasn't right... was supposed to be for a '99 but I suspect it is for a newer curvy. I never even hooked it up. (It's got a single connector, instead of two.)
If you're interested let me know and I'll send pics and maybe we can work something out. I'll sell it cheap, but will have to ship from Dublin. |

This is a pic of both rectifiers.
The angled edge one is for the later curvy I believe. That appears to have only 1 lead going to a connector. The thing about buying a secondhand one is, how do you know it's any better than the one you've got? ![]() |

This is a pic of the Rec on my 01 curvy. Looks like the Item no 5 on the diagram. You need to get the seat plastics off to confirm which type you have.

The thing is I would prefer to buy one from the forum, but nobody has replied to me yet, and my bike is my only means of transport... all the best, Nadine |

To be honest, I don't know what a good price for one is, but my main concern would be just how good a second hand one will be, and how long it will last.
Personally I would buy a brand new one, but appreciate not everyone can afford around £100 just like that. Can anyone else advise Nadine? |
