k&n air filter...

Anyone used them, do they make any difference to the ride?

Are they worth it and how much did you pay for it?

£50 new........... did not notice owt

Set up properly with the right exhaust, you should get an extra bit of HP. I also seem to recall that pipercross(sp?) ones might be better.

But of course you're on a restricted license, so its all academic.

I've got one, bought second hand. For me it is not an issue of improved performance but of reduced maintenance costs. the K&N can be cleaned and reused, the OE one can not.

Personally I doubt you'd feel any performance increase, I didn't.

A fair number of the lads racing over here have said that they put the stock back
on, that the K & N was hurting them.

I dunno.
Have you got tank raisers? You get some almost free power from just them.
