They run into your path...............stop and stare at you, then take off at the very last minute, bouncing off your head.
At least thats what they seem to like doing in derbyshire. |

I have to many animal stories to tell.
Summary; -Swerved for rabbit in scotland, clipped curb, spun car, got away with little damage. -Very next day decided not to swerve and smashed from bumper up on a dog, dog was fine by the way. -Hit a deer in scotland this summer and nearly wrote my works cars off. Amongst other bird/rabbit bouncing off car/me moments ![]() |

Haven't hit anything living yet.
..although i did run over an already dead fox on the M4 and actually felt the bump/thud/splat/crunch as i went over a previously untouched part of its body. RIP my bushy tailed friend ![]() |

I went past a duck about a meter away and it still flew off into my head! I ducked (pardon the pun) and clenched and managed to avoid it. Kind of burst out laughing though, it was really funny

Wood pigeons seen to be just as dim-witted. If there's a bunch of them in the road in front of you, do not just assume that when they take off they will actually try to fly in a direction that will prevent them from being hit.

i am always worried about hitting a badger or something like that on the bike. that would make one hell of a mess. Don't like killing stuff but if the stupid bunnys etc do insist on stepping out...

yeah deer have a habit of jumping over walls and plowing into my front wheel....very messy affair
Venison, they seem to cut in half quite easy, 60mph at least, ruin your crank cases, the stomach acid melts the paintwork!!!!!
