Just wondering as i grew up in the 90's really and loved them
a bit too young to have experianced the the summer of love in 89, but loved the raves of the 90's, so many things i loved about the 90's. but ithink that the noughties are too restricted too much Political correctness and nanny state. just wondering what people thougt and why! |

Voted 80's cos I was born in 80 so that was my childhood - I'm note sure if I could really say it would have been better to grow up in the 90's or 00's though cos my view of those years would be different to someone who was born in, say, 1989. E.g. my view of the 00's is as an adult and therefore without the innocence / naivety of a child's mind which alters things a lot.

I had my teenage years in the 70's. Great decade. We had freedom, simple needs, and fabulous music, and there hadn't yet developed the 'I want, grab, greed' culture Maggie and her ilk instilled in the 80's.

![]() True, very true but i can see that the 90's was on balcnce a nicer world, not the yob culture that had taken over out streets and estates, no war on terror etc, less traffic, taxes etc. or am i just being nostalgic already?? |

1970's.
Girls had long hair, saturday night family telly, smoking wasn't bad for you, food wasn't bad for you, glam rock, punk rock, I could go on. Ask my parents, and the 50's was the best time - I guess everyone has a rose tinted memory of their formative years. |
