discounts with an acu licsense?

hi, ive just got my acu licsense and ive heard that you can get discounts with an acu licsense on leathers, parts etc, does any one on here no of any were that offers a discount. i know micron exhausts offer a 35% discount but i dont know any where else.

Think Arai used to do one, about the same percentage if I remember correct too. Shame I seemed to have an odd shaped head at the time and none of their stuff ever fitted me

Not sure if Hein Gericke will be overly keen on cutting out profit margins but they can normally put you in touch with an Arai man; or there's generally an Arai van at the BSB meets where you can wander over and pester (and they'll often polish yer helmet - ooh-err - as well).

Just thought, have a vague recollection of them only offering this once you'd got enough signatures to get it to clubman level to stop folks just getting their novice licence, stock up on heavy discounts and never actually race. However, my memory is very rusty.

Is there a definitive list of places that are willing to give discount and what on etc.

Lloyd Lifestyle and VSJ Ltd (pretty much the same company) offer discounts to ACU licence holders on leathers, boots, gloves and helmets.

not sure if there 's a list on the ACU website but there is normally something in the back of the technical regs each year. But mostly, I just ask anyway
