Default S and non S interchanging parts?

Hi all just acquired a 2001 SV650SY which has at some point been dropped and the fairings damaged and taken off (although the rest of the bike looks straight and unmarked).

Anyway, it still has the S model clocks on it but some weird alien headlight attached to it.

As I am actually looking to get rid of it (only bought it as it was a friend and got it in a deal with another bike) I am thinking what is best to do.

Should I just tidy it up and sell as is?

Replace the fairings etc (looks pricey)

Change the headlight etc to the non S spec.

If I do the last one, am I correct in thinking:

If I change the headlight, bracket and clocks I will also need to change part of the wiring loom as looks from the Haynes book the connector to the clocks is different between S and non S. If so is it just the last bit of loom or more?

One assumes I will be stuffed with whatever mileage is shown on the new clocks?

Thanks in advance!

If anyone is interested in a red S with only 7k miles do let me know......

If i was you i'd just tidy it and sell it as it is.

it'd be too much hassle to start messing with the looms
