Gavin & Stacy - what do you lot think?

I've just latched on to gavin and stacy about 2 weeks ago - within watching 3 episodes of series 2, I'd ordered series One... Having watched series one (3 hours) in one sitting, I'm completely hooked.

I've just watched the last episode of series 2 tonight with Ness having had the baby. Is anyone else into gavin & stacy? I think its absolute genious...

Excellent TV. One of the funniest thing to come ot of the BBC for a long time, very dry comedy, Rob Brydon plays a blinder.
You'll love the first series.

I think I just heard on the radio they've won an award, so other people must like them too i've never seen it though, is it like the British version of Will and Grace?

the hospital that they filmed the birth in, is only 3 miles away from me, i had my finger x-rayed there last month.

i have watched a few times, and i dont see what the fuss is about, im not too keen........ although rob brydent(?) is ok in it

I'm a convert. Missed the series, I just didn't think it was for me, even after seeing the trailers. I caught the second series by accident, and I am hooked. Best writtten thing on TV for ages. So much better than I imagined.

Nah, it's much dryer humor. I think the reason I put off watching it was because I was imagining comparisons, I imagined it was a "2 pints of lager" type thing (which it isn't). I would say it is pretty unique... all the characters are excellent. You'd enjoy it I'm sure.
