I'm currently watching this item:

However, I've just tried to place a bid and the lister apparently has blocked me from bidding on it. Only thing I can think of was the fact that I asked if he'd be prepared to put a buy-it-now on it for 7 quid so I could get it faster, to which I got a snotty reply about auction formats being the whole point of eBay.

Could someone bid on this, and then I'll pay extra postage to them to get it sent to me afterwards? Pretty please?

Might be handy leaving your eBay username on the thread if you do so nobody here tries to outbid you on my behalf

Why is he calling it a gasket?

Coincidently, I have well over 1000 positive feedbacks (search for dirtsk8 )and I place a lot of importance on treating customers with respect. I hate it when t0$sers like that give the place a bad name. It used to be a cool place to buy and sellstuff.

No idea why it's listed as a gasket - the seller is a big of an idiot all-round. I watched the item originally and missed out on it by about 10 mins due to ebay not letting me log in, which is when I posed the buy-it-now question. Just a bit of a nightmare with him, really.
