I have replaced the clocks on my K5 with some earlier ones and the speedo reads double.I have been told the 03-04 model has a rotor with 4 magnets and the later model has 8.
Does anyone know if i can cut 4 prongs off of my rotor and if i did, would it sort out my problem. |

not a 100% sure but could you not also just buy a 03/04 rotor if it came 2 it? or just do it for a quick fix type of thing as i think they only are about £16 quid brand new.
so if cutting some prongs off dont work then just buy a 03/04 one. ![]() |
