I have done it before. I think I should be able to sort us out for getting about... Just have to have a read of the map to remind myself of it.

Depends on where you want to set off from as well... Last time we set off from ripon McD's (I think it was). Wasn't bad. I dont normally go that way though. Find out the last post about it. http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=105193 Post 24 gives directions.

I recently did a bit of round-robin type run, starting and finishing at Darlington, going via Barnard Castle, Penrith, HARTSIDE, Alston, Brampton, Gretna, Langholm, Hawick & Jedburgh and back down to Darlo via the A68.

This could be an option whereby we meet up with some of the Ecosse lot, however for those coming up from darn Sarf (is Manchester/Leeds etc classed as south?????) it would make for a rather long day.

anyone would be welcome, north south wherever, if we get five or siz of us it will be well worth it..

I am keen to go again if it is a nice wetaher. I know it well so no map reading required. Shall we meet at the McDonalds at Ripon again around 10:30ish? This Saturday looks nice and dry (so far).

Where is Ecosse? If it much above Ripon then its getting a bit far. Its 50+ miles just to get to Ripon for me!
