Default battery question.

excuse me being a battery numpty but:
haven't been on the bike for nearly ten weeks due to leg injury. haven't bothered starting it as figured would be pointless. don't have a optimate or anything like that but was planning on jumping it off the car and going for a long blast...now when i get to my destination or need to stop for fuel what are the chances of the battery being strong enough (if at all) to start the bike again or will i need to take my jump cables with me? would it be easier just to ride to thunder road and get a new battery stright away or will there maybe be life in it?

battery was brand new 2 weeks before leg injury (so 12 weeks old).

cheers

just noticed how long this question is so sorry for faffing.

If the battery is pancake flat then the damage may be irreparable. Beg/borrow/steal a charger and see if it charges?

At that age it should be fine, charge it and I'm sure you'll have no troubles.
