I noticed on the HG site they are selling 4L of Semi-Synth Moto Oil for £12.17 seems like a bargain to me.

Something that imo you should never skimp on is oil... £30 for 4L of Putoline. Good stuff. Love oil change, its amazing how much quieter the bike gets after (engine noise)...

We have it on good authority that HG oil is re-branded Motul.
Hardly skimping is it?

My Bike was running so sweet after I changed my oil Definitely don't skimp on oil, I bought Tesco's own brand car oil before I knew about HG's and the bike ran beautifully ![]() Don't run your bike on corn oil ![]() |

If it's the same motul stuff I use (5100) then it's an ester based oil. One of the best going.
£22/4 liters from local motor factors. That £12.50 +pnp seems a belting price.

Good advice; new oil is better than used oil - whatever you decide to use.
