Hi, I live in the UK and I'm taking a driving down through continental Europe in the summer. I want to buy one of those EU stickers to put on my plate to comply with the laws in the countries I'm going to but can't find them anywhere.
Anyone know where to buy them? |

yup Halfords ..although these ones are a little too wide. I think they market them as bike ones too
they do a similar one with the 'union jack' and a very tiny EU stars circle on it which is very small and slim. Edit here they are

I had something like this, GB in euro stars (above the number plate), plus a big GB on the tailpack (when in use).
No probs over 3k done in EU land ![]() ![]() |

Slight derail so apologies:- What if you don't have one of these stickers when you're on the continent?

now I've found a pic...lol
the Uk ones are so slim they just squeezed down the side of the numbers..and my plate is ever so slightly narrower than standard, but you'd have to get out the tape measure to check

My mate in France calls the stickers 'Gullible B'tard' stickers, as they just scream attention. ![]()

Depends which country you visit. In theory you need one whenever out of your registration country, but some countries are sharper than others.
France is generallly pretty lax on these sort of things, Germany is a lot stricter, and Austria will and do issue on-the-spot fines for not having the country ident. My plates were made with the Euro GB bit included. Just pop one on. As for being easily spotted as a foreigner, well the great big yellow bill-board of a number plate more or less gives you away.
