Default Cbr900r Fireblade

I''m buying one pretty soon (i hope).

Anyone have any experience of them? What to look for, or avoid? Or whether to sack them in altogether and get something else!

I'm really drawn to the 93 model, with the twin headlights I know more the same money buys a newer model, but I think those twin lights look ace!

Anyway, anyone with any experience of them, please give me some jibber-jabber about it

Never liked the urban tiger colours, yet they seem to get voted as the best colour scheme ever, year after year.

you will be lucky to find a 93 (16 year old) blade that has not been thrashed to death, and dropped a few times

dont get an import, as they are restricted (depending on where its from)

i would be looking for a 98-99 last of the carbs, or even a 929 (as long as the recalls have been done) if you have £2k............ £3k would get you a 2002 954cc (like mine)

Yeah, I'm being a bit put off by the ones with 8+ owners! Amazing how many of them are still on the road with 30k+ miles though
