I Have fitted a water temp gauge to my 99 sv 650. The gauge was a £15 purchase from the bay. I made a bracket in carbon fibre that attaches to the speedo casing with a couple of short screws. Gauge came with sensor, which screws into the thermostat housing. Wiring was quite easy as i knew which was the switched live from ignition switch [ORANGE] + on gauge. - negative went to any earth [ BLACK/WHITE TRACER] Illumination for gauge light was tapped into speedo light +/- I,m not sure if this gauge will last because there,s a bit more vibration on a bike than car, but at moment all working as it should.

looks a very tidy addition, but why? are you concerned that your curvy will pop a gasket in the heat this summer?? any plans to do a carbon fibre frame and swingarm yet?
