Default Brake Pad Spring

Just replaced the front pads for my curvy sv and the pad spring on the front right caliper was bent. I tried to straighten it out but had to break a bit of it off in the end otherwise the inner pad wouldn't to sit or more right or move freely. Just taken the bike for a spin and everything seems okay but wondering if I should replace the spring or will it be okay as it is? Tried searching for the part online but could find it anywhere. Any help/thoughts appreciated. Pic below:

Are you referring to the inner pad when the caliper is fitted, that is; the pad that's not against the pistons? If yes then that pad isn't supposed to move in the caliper - that spring has two tangs on it that hold the pad in place against the caliper's rear 'fingers'.

Yes it's the inner pad - this shouldn't move at all? The piece that's now missing was bent back on itself so the "tang" on it wasn't working anyway. It was causing the pad to not sit right or so I thought when I compared it to the other caliper.

Cheers for the that husky03 at least I know where to get it from now. Dropping the bike off to my local dealer tomorrow for something else so will see what he thinks as well. The part has obviously been faulty since I've owned the bike and hasn't caused any problems yet - I guess it's there to stop the pad from vibrating rather than keep it in place but will check tomorrow how vital it is.
