Default taking a photo while riding,

ok folks lets say your riding along and think "ooooh i awnt to take a photo of my mates riding infront" how do you go about it? i.e. not falling off/getting your camers out/putting it away etc>?

someone posted a link to a u.s adventure bike forum where the guy was a pro at this -some fantastic shots .

just put the camera in an accessible pocket or on a lanyard and snap away . not advisable taking your eyes off the road though so will have to take near blind shots. camera would need a fast shutter speed too I'd guess.

Have it in the tankbag. I'd put it on a lanyard so you can drop it straight back in if needed.

i would put this in the tank bag but ive lost one of the securing straps!!! so no tank bag for me

how big is it? i wouldn't expect to be able to operate a small compact with a glove on. Equally a large SLR might be a bit unstable swinging around on a neck strap. If it's sort of medium size, i'd just put it on a shortish neck strap.

I'd prefer one I could use with my left hand but there ain't many of these.

Meh, if I tried this, it would be an absolute reciepe for disaster...! Definately AT LEAST a broken camera, possible broken bike and/or broken MBK....
