SV1000 bellypan fit a 650? - SV650.org

I'm looking for a belly pan for me sv650s K4, and I've found one for a sv1000 in the same year, cheap but it is without fittings. my question is would if fit on my 650 if i get the fittings???

Nope, wont fit - bottom of the engine is a different shape (more square/less angled at the front on the right side)

Not really - tho would depend on the belly pan in question, you are looking at modifying fairly complex (in some cases) 3d shapes.

You CAN fit some curvy bellypans on pointies, tho may need to modify for the oil cooler.

I ended up giving the SV1000 one away and got a proper 650 one instead.

tbh i could try it with the belly pan im getting if there's no real way of doing it I'd sell it on I won't lose money

Might be hard to find someone who wants one - my SV1000 sat around in my garage for about 3 years, I think it may have been a standard part on SV1000's.

Mine went to someone who was restoring one.

Best to not bother (if you can) and just start off with an SV650 unit.
