Car insurance trouble - adrian flux = crap!

Ok,

I took out some car insurance on my modified show car several months back.

upon taking the insurance out i received a load of forms to fill out and send back including photocopies of my license both parts.

after sending all of that off to them i then receive a letter saying that they sent me the wrong forms and i now have to do all of that again or they will cancel my policy.

so after sending all of that off they then write again saying that they are going to cancel my policy because i haven't confirmed any ccjs against me, i then ring and say i haven't got any ccjs and the gap in no claims bonus is because the car was in the body shop so didn't insure it for the road.

every thing was hunky dory, until today i have received a letter saying that they are cancelling my policy because i haven't sent off any of the paperwork from the initial pack they sent me when i took the insurance out.

I have just phoned them and now they say they want updated copies of everything, i've explained nothing has changed at all.

I cant win with this company, what should I do? i am tempted to just cancel the policy because how crap they are

Make a formal written coplaint about the way things have been. If you're not satisfied, you're entitled to make a complaint to the Ombudsman (FOS). You might want to consider this if a) it will cost you more to re-insure elsewhere and b) FOS can consider compensation for inconvenience and unreasonable behaviour, as well as recovery of any extra costs incurred.
