Default SCORPION BAFFLE.....

OK:

Road legal Scorp can with the baffle in.

No screw under the end to remove said baffle......

Welded in then yeh..?.............

Does anyone know where the weld is ?.....Can it be drilled out.??...

Or is it there to stay.??..........

Cheers.

Alex.....

PS: Anyone got a SV link pipe for sale?..

Is there a hole underneath the outlet that looks as though there should be a screw in there? If not it looks as though the baffle is in there to stay. Can you post some pictures of the outlet end of the can and I will be able to tell you straight away if it is removeable or not.

Sounds like you have got a race can and not a road can. The Scorp does have a small screw to remove the baffle, I had one before I get flamed by any know it all upstart claming to be a guru on all things bike.

You can drop me a Pm if you want some help with it.

Cheers

Default Can

From what the owner has said, (not got the can yet.) It has the e4 stamp on the end to make it road legal...??..........

I'll suss it out when it arrives..........If the baffle wont shift i'll get a nice long drill bit and drill a hole in the end of it from thew conector pipe end to make it nice and load......

Watch this space....!!...

It sounds like you have a Road Legal type with E4 stamp that has a permanent baffle rather than a removable one!

If it's as described by polarbear then I'm afraid you have got more than a little problem to get round as sound reduction is done using silmilar construction to OE cans (chambers and tubes).

Not much louder than standard can as well. Bought a carbon fibre one ages ago , before removable baffles were available.

Cheers
Ben
