Default Vee twin heaven!

Well as I am always happy to state the IL4 bikes are extremely good bits of kit. But things do get a little samey, samey as you see so many of them.

Today on the breakfast run I was greeted by a very pleasant surprise...so much that for a brief spell we actually out numbered the IL4 bikes!

The list reads as so:

Cagiva 1000 Raptor in black.

KTM Duke in Black.

Ducati 749 dark in......

Ducati 748 in yellow

Ducati 749s in red.

Sv650s latest model in blue.

The guy on the SV has recently binned his 916 and just been offered 3000 euros by his insurance company! Well he does have an MV and a 881 in the garage too!

He was running the SV in for someone, and although not screaming the motor he was throwing that baby down in bends! Proving that in the dry those much criticised Dunlop's do a great job!

Oh crap 34ºC tomorrow looks like another little hoon after the bike racing!

I had the honour of seeing a Ducati "Senna 916" go past me yesterday while on foot in Manchester, looked absolutely stunning - black with red wheels, and two huge shotgun Termingoni cans sticking out the back giving that trademark rumble - only ruined by the dry clutch noise when he came up to the lights!

Ah my friend but you are missing the point of the essence of the Ducati clutch! Noise emphasised if stood at lights with lever pulled!

Heaven knows what you would think of the Desmodronic sounds when getting along a bit!

Agricultural is something that maybe errr Harley make boys! If you want a motor with real character...a living breathing mechanical marvel...it's got to be a Ducati!
