Default Fork OIL - which one ?

I just bought some Ohlins springs.

Now the Question is - do I need to use the Ohlins Fork oil ? or will any other brand do ?

For Example Ohlins 1 liter ~ £20 (Demon Tweeks)

Putoline (on eBay) 1 liter ~ £ 2

What viscosity do you recommend for me ?

I have 92 kg. And the standard forks/w. oil feel like Butter.

SAE15W or SAE20W ?

Many Thanks

Patrick

i'd say go for 15... 20 is too much

some even mix 10 and 15 to get 12.5

You're about the same weight as me - I had 15W & it was fine

Remember that the viscosity will alter with changes in temperature - when winter comes (seems like it has already these last couple of days ) your forks will seem stiffer

cheers

Personally I doubt it'll make much difference what make you use. I used Silkolene, I think- it's pretty and blue 15W was a bit too heavy for me so I thik it'll suit you. Once I send you your cap anyway
