Default Another BMW vid - sportsbikes beware :)

Just saw this on UKGSers, a nice vid of a GS1200 trouncing a sportsbike round a track:

http://www.el-paseo.info/downloads/b...vid/Barber.mov (26mb)

Here's a pic of the rider in action:

Just shows that outright BHP isn't the deciding factor in the real world. Now if only I could afford one... still let's have my SV1000 first .

Twins rule!

Awesome! Proof if it were needed that you dont need a sportsbike!

... and (if you were on the road,) the rossers can't pull you & use your own video as evidence (i.e. with speedo in view,) against you

Spot on - I was just keeping up with my mates 1000cc ThunderAce at a recent trackday at Snetterton, which is meant to be a "power circuit"!! Through the bends I was pulling loads back that I had lost on the straights... He wasnt happy! MUHAHAHA!

No point owning a super powerful sports bike if you can't handle the power. That's why the SV is so popular, any power much above 60/70bhp is unusable for most riders.
