Default Looking for a very specific sound

I am going to be purchasing an sv650s soon and I would like to get an aftermarket exhaust. I love the sound of the 4 cyl. replica race bikes (that high pitched whine). However, I noticed that the sv650s has more gargle to it. Is there an exhaust that sounds a bit more like the race bikes do? I understand that the sound has much to do with the engine type. I just want something that closely resembles it.

Thanks for your advice in advance.

It sounds like a proper motorbike.

Look, if you buy a v-twin it'll sound like a v-twin, end of story. If you (really?) prefer the sound on an inline four then maybe an SV isn't for you. So if you haven't ridden one, then I urge you to do so before buying.

As JB says, the two sounds are totally different. The "thump, thump" of a vee twin is a glorious sound, but then I still think that at 14k RPM my Gixxer sounded awesome.

Like he says, try before you buy, and the closest I think you will get will be an Akropovic full system which brings the note up (well it did on my SV), but you are not going to replicate the F! type sound of an inline 4 as you simply don't rev high enough on an SV....

IMO V twins sound better at low revs (below 8k or so, i know its hardly low but its still just over half way for some 4s) and IL4s sound best over that.
