Default honda + bmw riders?

So I'm riding to work fingers frozen but happy.
Another bike coming the other way give a nod... Nothing returned Why you ask?
Well it's a honda the same seems to apply to bmw driv...riders.
Now I know that there is some sorta snobby attitude to riders on smaller bikes in fact I'm guilty of myself to spotty kids on 50's.
But honda and bmw riders seem to this to all I see it when out on my TL1000
so its not that.
Be interested to see how many agree or not?
I the summer I wear a black visor so its not cos I is ugly

fell better now!

When I see a bike coming towards me I always nod unless it is a scooter. I can't see how Honda and BMW riders can idenfify what bike you are riding when closing on each other head-on at a combined speed of 60 to 120mph. I can barely tell bikes apart in those circumstances!

I'll always nod back if nodded to and generally nod first most of the time. Never initiated a nod to a hairdryer rider...sorry scooter rider but i'll nod back if they give us one first

I think it's just a case of some riders nod, others don't. However the most polarised example I've found is Harley riders - 50% are really friendly and nod and wave, the other 50% pretend that they're the only bike on the road and nothing else exists in their reality - odd.

yeh i do find that the arrogance of some BMW riders is right up there with BMW car drivers.
Had a fella on a 1150GS thingy last night, with his big fat metal panniers, blocking every filter gap there was while he was in front of me. he was no way gonna get thru yet instead of moving to one side and letting me thru he'd just get as far as he could with his front wheel, then lok at me in his mirrors.

Never mind i thought and found another way thru the rush hour traffic and forgot all about him, till he comes flying up behind me trying to jam his way into the gap i'm about to filter thru Twit.

I was really not in the mood and said "Do me a favour, find someone else to race will ya" He thought i wanted to race and at the next set of lights flew away.
I was metres away from him and at the next lights commented on how suprised i was that the extra 500cc he had over me didnt help to get any more speed
he wasnt as upset by that as i expected an actually turned out to be a faily nice bloke.

I think this weather just makes us all a little less friendly maybe?
