Anyone use one of these with a raid II? I cant put the helmet on without the earphones hurting my ears and creating pressure points. Not many places to route the cables either - any ideas?

Im not too sure how diffrent the Raid II is from an XR1000. Near the ears, is it padded or hollow?
I put the ear peices there without the sticky backing and routed the cables behind the lining, you may need to push the cables between the lining & shell. Worked fine for me, but if the ear pockets are padded i can see you will have presure problems on your ears.

there are spaces behind the cheek pads where there is no lining so ive placed them there for now, however i either have a funny shaped head or theyre not supposed to go there because my ears dont actually sit in those recesses. Theyre half on the cheek pads.

I've got a raid II & i've got to fit the autocom to it, would be nice to hear the outcome, my ears do sit in the cutout areas though.

Did you get a satisfactory answer to this. my earphones need to go right where the cutouts are but still dont leave enough room for the tops of my ears to be comfortable, am considering cutting some of that area away so that the earphones will be more recessed. Also what did you do with the stalk of the microphone, did you position it behind the polystyrene in the face part of the helmet as they suggest or did you come up with something better. |

The XR1000 are apparently the hardest to put the head phones in

my Raid being new, is a little tight at the moment and i had to squeeze into it to get the phones to stay in the right place. Theyre half on the foam, half in the recess. I couldnt go behind the polysterene to fit the mic because it doesnt go there, so i just angled it behind the padding and then led it down to the front of the helmet. Its working properly, its just a little tight at the moment. Needs a couple of rides to bed the padding in
