Default Lock Keys?

Hi All,

Lost my bloody keys yesterday Anyway the guy I bought the bike from gave me a couple of locks(off the top of my head the main lock is a thatcham approved and a disc lock. Took the keys to the cutter today so I could regain spares and they can't cut them. Anyone know how to go about getting a couple more spares in case I do the same again

Cheers

Sean

I take it you went to a proper locksmith and not your local keycutter who can only do a very limited range of keys

My local lock man was able to do most of my keys with the exception of one of my disk locks

When i bought my bike the guy also gave me his Abus granite lock and keys. With this there was a small metal key shaped item with a serial number stamped on it.
Apparently i can use this to order spares from Abus directly, as they dont sell the blank keys to anyone else to cut for them.

So i'd agree with the above post of .... Manufacturer.

if your really desperate, a locksmith can mesure inside your barrel and cut keys to suit.
