I've tried a few different weights but just done mine with 7.5(Silkolene RSF). I found the 5wt (can't remember which brand) and standard valving(I lost too much external adjustability.
With 10wt which as far as I know is close to the Suzuki oil , again can't remember what brand much better but found could not get the comp where I personally wanted. I have not ridden on the 7.5wt yet but have set the air gap at 125mm. Easier to add a little bit more oil is end of travel is too soft or bottoming out very easily.(standard springs on the GSXR750 K1-K3 incidentally are 0.8kg/mm). My recommendation would be Silkolene RSF 7.5wt see. Two separate brands of fork oil with same 'wt' can have different actual viscosity so what ever brand you go for , stick with that for making any changes in oil weight. Hope that helps. Cheers Ben ps: I'll email the files to you as well. EDIT: need your email address |
