Default Aberdyfi/Clwedog

Had a ride over to west Wales today with a few of the Telford IAM mob. Just 4 or 5 of us, me, Karl, tow Pauls, Malc and Martin. Turned out Martin had come over from Telford on this beautiful creature:

just to buy a Mail on Sunday.

Here's Karl's Multistrada S:

Malc's Bonny:

Paul's GS:

Got to Lake Vyrnwy and it chucked it down I haven't seen any of these before, they were in the cafe car park:

Then over the mountains towards Dolgellau and the fabulous A470. Turned left down to Tal-y-Llyn, ended up at Aberdyfi. This was outside the PFS, but next the bloke had a roll of spanners out and was whackig it with a hammer to coax it into life:

Oh we do like to be beside the seaside!! This is Aberdyfi, fantastic chips:

Then on via Machynlleth ('Ma-hunt-leth') to Clwedog. Beautiful views:

While we were there the local Morgan appreciation society drove in. I thought that Lady Penelope was going to get out of this Plus Eight:

The pink one and the green one behind it are Plus Eights, the others are Plus Fours.

Then on to Craven Arms via Llanidloes ('Clan-id-loss') and Newtown. Didn't take any pics as there wasn't much to take there

Home safe:

Next generation of biker:

Have told her that face paint doesn't really go with the image

164 miles all told, and not a single plodmobile in sight.

Cheers Ed for the nice pictures. Just to remind me that I spent the day in work and not out on the bike. There's no justice in this world sometimes.

Oh and and get a load of that smug and satisfied grin on yer mug in 2nd to last picture.

Nice pics, I'm missing something when did you get the Daytona? I thought you still had the Hornet you had at AR05.

Bought it in February, it was a bargain! From Wylies in Telford. Took me a while to sell the Hornet - market for 2nd hand bikes is so crap!
