Default Dreams?

Hey all,

i'm not normally one for dreams, or giving a sh!t what they mean but this one has me puzzled.

i just remember riding my bike, trying a wheelie, flipping it and seeing my bike sumersault up the road, i was fine, but my bike was a bit worse for wear.

What do you lot reckon it means?

You're sleeping to much, you should join a circus.

That's it, you can pay on your way out.

OK, I did psychology back at college (I was actually looking to go into AI programming at the time). My notes say this:

"To see or ride a motorcycle in your dream, symbolizes your desire for freedom and need for adventure. You may be trying to escape from some situation or some other responsibility in your waking life. A motorcycle is also symbolic of raw sexuality.
To dream that you are speeding on a motorcycle, indicates that you are moving too fast."

I'm a little sceptical about further analysis because, well, the details given are very brief. Granted this may be all you remember, but there will of been far more detail in the dream.

Naturally since you were wheelie-ing, you were moving pretty slowly, but accellerating hard initially, which is why I posted the speeding bit. Since you were fine, but the bike wasn't, the closest thing I know of in my notes is:

"To dream that you have a bruise, represents stress and mounting pressure that you are dealing with in your waking life. It may also refer to a reawakening of old, family wounds. Alternatively, you need to accept the consequences of your actions. Consider the symbolism of the specific part of your body that is bruised. "

Which the opposite probably applies to you, but sort of applies to your bike as it was a little "bruised". Also, the bike isn't the bike in your waking life remember, it's just a symbol.

I can see now I'm going to be unindated with dream interpretation requests Was only a matter of time before folks found out I studied this sort of thing in the past I suppose.

While you're at it, why don't you change your name to "Baphreud?"

Lol Felipe. Nah, the dream interpretation is just an aside to the stuff I've done in the past. Just because you're a geek, I'll explain. The reason I did psychology was under the sound reasoning that in order to reproduce the autonomous actions of the human mind, you first have to understand it.

Still haven't managed to understand it yet though, so AI is far far away still. Maybe one day though.

???

I had a dream about my motorcycle, everyone rode off on theirs while mine wouldn't start.

I fear what that dream means now.

"To dream that you engine is blown or disabled, indicates that you have been betrayed."

Any more for any more?

I'll answer that with only one simple question... Which one?

It means: Don't try wheelies as you obviously don't have the knack for them.

Either that or COVER YOUR BACK BRAKE.

That's exactly the point my friend. All of them.

Back when i was heavily designing stuff like this (in theory only) it would be a complete replication of the id, ego & super-ego, both concious & subconcious processes. But that was all theory, and whilst being apt at programming, I'm nowhere near that good.

Neural networks I can handle, but it's when you get to the stage of having a x-k node Neural network, and the response from that network is just a node in another x-m neural network, and that's tantamount to one single task on one leg in the human thought process... well, it gets a little complex.
